Fidelity moved to expand design and print centre in Bedford!

Fidelity Design and Print in Bedfordshire has recently made the move to create a larger digital print centre in Bedford after trying to expand their Ampthill based business for a couple of years. Despite searching for suitable office space it had been a fruitless task in and around Ampthill and Central Bedfordshire and led to the company looking further afield. The jump to new premises happened really quickly, Fidelity MD Louise Hodge says “I set myself a New Year target to move in 2017 and already achieved that goal. Our new print centre in Kenneth Way on Wilstead Industrial Park is a more prestigious location and is easily accessible from Bedford, Milton Keynes and Luton via A6 and A421. The increase in floor space comfortably houses our three digital presses and associated finishing equipment and we can further expand the branding design and digital print services we offer in house”.

Fidelity’s move is hot on the heels of a recent investment in the latest HP latex large-format printer which allows fast in-house production of outdoor banners, roller banners and wallpapers, window and floor graphics as well as small and internal signage. This was a big but obvious step for the company as they can now provide same day and next delivery across all print services when required.

The new print centre, adjacent to the Wixams, is open from 9-5 Monday – Friday for walk-in bureau services including plan printing, quick print and copy services and instant photo printing. There is plenty of parking and a comfortable waiting area with a coffee bar that allows customers to sit and watch their print being created. Future developments will see the space become a ‘print knowledge centre’ for clients wanting to learn more about print with installations showcasing new applications for digital print and associated media. There are also plans to host an open day offering current and future client’s demonstrations of Fidelity’s print facilities and marketing solutions such as marketing portals and cross-media marketing.
